Virtual Content Types

Virtual content types are not stored as standalone media. Instead, they are decomposed at import time into one or more underlying basic content items (such as pictures), which are then played back like regular content.

Obscreen supports the following virtual content types:

PDF

Import a PDF document from your computer. Each page of the PDF is automatically extracted and converted into a picture, allowing the document to be played as a sequence of slides.

Supported formats are:

• PDF

Once imported, every page becomes an individual image that can be scheduled, reordered, or reused like any other picture content.
